You should also ask your pharmacist if she used an “informal” name during her registration with the College of Pharmacists of British Columbia. Then look up your pharmacist on the College of Pharmacists of British Columbia’s website. 

Here is a step by step guide to help you check your pharmacist’s license in case you need help navigating through the College’s website.

Step 1. Get your pharmacist’s full legal name. 

First, ask your pharmacist for her legal name. You can also look up a pharmacist in the College of Pharmacists of British Columbia’s website by her informal name, however it is best to ask for a pharmacist’s legal first and last name as informal names can be chosen arbitrarily.  

Step 2. Search their name using the College of Pharmacists of British Columbia’s website.

Secondly, navigate to College of Pharmacists of British Columbia’s website (Click here to open the College’s website https://www.bcpharmacists.org/search-pharmacist) and enter your pharmacist first and last name under the “Pharmacist” tab as shown in the images below.

Step 3. Confirm your pharmacist name with the search results.

Your last step is to evaluate if the search brought up your pharmacist. The search will provide you with your pharmacist legal Enter the name of the pharmacist you would like to look up and their name should appear as being registered under the College of Pharmacists of British Columbia.
