Eye drops: The usual recommended dose is 2 drops into the affected eye 3 or 4 times daily or as directed by your doctor. More frequent dosing may be used in certain situations, such as treating eye ulcers.

Organism overgrowth: Use of Sandoz Gentamicin Opht. (Gentamicin-eent) occasionally allows overgrowth of microorganisms, such as fungi that are not killed by the antibiotic. If this occurs, or if irritation or sensitization to any of the components of this preparation develops, contact your the doctor.

Pregnancy: Sandoz Gentamicin Opht. (Gentamicin-eent) should not be used during pregnancy unless the benefits outweigh the risks. If you become pregnant while taking Sandoz Gentamicin Opht. (Gentamicin-eent), contact your doctor immediately.
